IT WASN'T ALWAYS EASY. 🥴

I'm so passionate about tapping into a career that fufills you, challenges you, inspires and motivates you because I know what it's like to have a career that is DRAINING you. 

Like many, I left school with ZERO idea of what I wanted to do. So naturally, I enrolled in University to study an area I've always had a flair for and started working in Sales for Fashion Retailers. I studied a Bachelor of Communications with a focus on Public Relations and Marketing. I gained experience at one the largest PR Organizations globally, then at a quirky, creative arts PR agency and eventually found myself moving to London, with an opportunity to work at a luxurious PR agency that specialized in managing the accounts of Interior Designers and Interior Brands.

I worked in Chelsea, went to luxe cafes, met interior designers, visited their studios, ran all the way to the Vogue London Office in heels in record time (very Andy Sachs 'The Devil Wears Prada'). And whilst I sat there recognizing that I could have a great career in this, I fundamentally knew it wasn't me at all. 

Problem was - I felt stuck. My studies were all centered around the Communications sector as was my experience.

So who was going to hire me in something else?

YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED. 💣

What I did know is that I was passionate about people, the mind, human behavior, building relationships (I can talk forever and a day), & doing a job that made a difference to people's lives that was purpose led.

I left London with a wealth of new knowledge and experience - but also knowing I needed to change my career path. I decided I wanted to help people. I went back to University to study Psychological Science and completed my Post Graduate Qualification in 1 year. I re-branded myself, my resume and crafted a compelling story to help get my foot in the door in a new industry.

And then I found THE perfect job...Career Consulting... and it SCREAMED out to me! I knew I didn't have the specific experience. But what I did have was the transferrable skills, the motivation, the enthusiasm and the passion to do well. And that is what I needed to sell.

THINGS STARTED TO CLICK. ✨

I rebranded and I GOT THE JOB. I was immersed in the world of careers, learning from experienced and well-regarded Career, HR and Recruitment experts.

I eventually worked my way up to become the Head Career Coach and have never looked back. I love what I do, I help people everyday, It supports my ideal lifestyle, I get to connect with others and I love continuing to learn about the industry, new and emerging trends, strategies and tactics (and you can bet I'm in constant contact with my network across broad industries getting their PERSONAL insights and feedback on how they are looking for candidates and what they are looking for) because I'm PASSIONATE about bridging that gap between employers and job seekers. 

I share this because if you feel like it's not possible to change... I am here to tell you it is. 

NOW I WANT TO TEACH THE PROCESS TO OTHERS. 💕

I want to teach you how to do it yourself and empower you to land the job you ACTUALLY want. Following a carefully crafted formula, strategy and tools. Through having a CLEAR sense of who you are, what you want, what you bring to the table and who want to bring it to is the first step. 

The most successful people in the world all have on major thing in common. DEFINITIVE CLARITY. Because they know what they want. They can go for it. When you have zero idea you bounce around from job to job. It's not because you aren't loyal, or you're lazy... it's because you're searching for something. Clarity is the key. 

Then you need a killer brand you can sell. We are talking resume, LinkedIn but beyond that... What do you stand for, what's your *THING* you bring no one else does? What is your personality? What do you value? We need to package you up with the bow and all (but in an authentic way).

Then you need to know how to TELL people that. Interviews are your opportunity to CONNECT. You just need to know how.

Yes it can be an up & down journey (as is anything), and it's a part of the process. But the people who stay committed, stay consistent and back themselves - they get the results. And that is YOU.
